Brief Project Description:
The Challenge The Pittsburgh City Government currently utilizes Microsoft Exchange for their email service for 2,000-3,000 users. Unfortunately, the organization does not have the internal resources to manage the system.
The Solution Pittsburgh City Government decided to switch to Google Apps, a cloud based solution where the service provider could manage the email system.
Projected Results
- •Savings of $100,000 per year
- •Administrators’ email duties cut be 60% - able to focus on other tasks
- •Increase from 50MB-100MB to 25GB of storage per user
